About Stephen Louw

I work as an Employee Resourcing Advisor for the RSPB in Brighton, England. My role is to provide expert advice and support to the organisation on how to attract and recruit high-quality staff to meet the resourcing needs of the RSPB and support the delivery of the people strategy. My role within the RSPB I am responsible for monitoring recruitment trends and researching the most relevant and cost-effective recruitment tools and routes to market for the RSPB to maximise value for money and containing costs within the HR recruitment budget. I am instrumental in developing and continuously improving recruitment materials and guidance for managers that align with our organisational brand to increase the likelihood of success and which promote the RSPB as an employer of choice. It is important for me to be able to address issues facing recruitment for the organisation and plan and implement creative strategies for coping with these issues. As a Resourcing Advisor, I work to advise and support managers and HR Business Partners on the most suitable selection methods for their roles ensuring the competency framework is an integral part of the the process to build the desired organisational culture of the RSPB.
