Stephen is the Chief Executive Officer & Founder of Oak Capital. He is well known for having a wealth of knowledge & experience in the Australian lending market and is highly regarded in the industry as a non bank specialist. Since 2003, Stephen has been heavily involved in funds management, mortgage broking/management, origination and lending, leading multiple organisations to deliver exceptional service, results & solutions for clients that do not fit the normal banking landscape. Stephen founded Resicom in 2006 & Oak Capital in 2013. Resicom was acquired in 2020 by Oak Capital and forms part of the Oak Group of companies. Oak Capital is a Funds Manager and Alternative Non-Bank Lender. Oak Capital is one of the leading and most diversified Non-Bank lenders in the country, specialising in lending to SME clients secured by real estate assets. Oak Capital has over $600M of Assets Under Management (AUM) and originates over $1.5B of loan applications per annum. Oak Capital operates two contributory Mortgage Funds, catering independently to both Retail & Sophisticated Investors. The company provides fast acting boutique lending options to SME clients, whilst providing secure select investment options for investors seeking a strong yield on their funds. Both of Oak Capitals Mortgage Funds are ASIC registered Managed Investment Schemes (MIS) both operating as Contributory Mortgage Funds.
