Background

About Stephen Moon

I have 16+ years of experience in the field of echocardiography and sonography and I am registered through both ARDMS (RDCS, RDMS) and CCI (ACS). Holding a BS in education and an AS in cardiovascular science, I consider myself a lifelong learner, committed to expanding my knowledge, skills, and abilities. Change is a constant and I take pride in my ability to quickly adapt to an ever evolving profession. As an educator, I have developed and implemented educational programs at both the public school and community college levels. I developed, organized and presented the Echo11 class for Southern Maine Community College for the past 4 years. My public speaking skills are polished via both my public school teaching experience and in-house lectures on the technical aspects of echo, providing me the ability to articulate myself in a clear and concise manner. My communication and interpersonal skills are well-honed, having interacted with individuals of many different cultures and backgrounds. Always a team player, I identify with those who seek cohesiveness by recognizing and valuing each person's unique skills and aptitudes.
