About Stephen Moran

Working for the past 25 years as a real estate agent and photojournalist has given extensive knowledge and insight into the LBI region’s lifestyle and marketplace enabling me to better serve my clients and inform my audiences. I have been a licensed Realtor with Mary Allen Realty, Inc. on Long Beach Island, NJ since I was one of the first LBI agents to become a certified e-PRO Internet Marketing Professional by the National Association of Realtors and was recently certified by the NAR as Resort and Second-Home Property Specialist. I have been involved in South Jersey Shore real estate and LBI vacation properties since 1992. First as a freelance real estate photojournalist and reporter for "The Press of Atlantic City" before becoming a full-time reporter and Ocean County Bureau Chief until 1993. After LSU graduate school, I returned to the area as the editor of the Times Beacon Newspapers’ Special Sections, including Real Estate Monthly and was the founder of its NJPA award-winning real estate Web site. I have interactions and communication with a variety of clients and other professionals involved with buying, selling, investing or renting real property in the LBI and Southern Ocean County marketplace as a REALTOR. Using current technology and personal contact, I strive to work for the best deal possible for my clients, sellers and rental homeowners. Working as a photojournalist, reporter, and editor, I have produced more than one thousand articles, often with photos, on a variety of topics including state and local government, crime, natural disasters, businesses, and events, as well as personal profiles on a variety of people from all walks of life.
