Stephen Murray is a trial attorney and business owner with nearly a decade of civil litigation trial experience. Originally from Bossier City, Louisiana, he is licensed in Iowa, Nebraska and Missouri and is admitted in numerous federal districts. He also supports numerous firms on larger cases as co-counsel in Florida, New York and Delaware. He started his legal career with a large insurance defense firm based out of Chicago for 7 years. During that time, he started a legal consulting group where he continues to handle pre-litigation and litigation matters in most of the larger states. Stephen owns Ironclad Injury Law, LLC, a boutique law firm based out of Omaha, Nebraska, specializing in high-value injury claims. The firm handles cases in Nebraska, Iowa, Missouri, Georgia, Illinois, Florida and New York. Stephen also works closely with a few firms in North Miami Beach, handling a lot of their Midwest litigation. He is an out-of-the-box thinker and litigator, focusing on his clients' human story. He believes that getting to know his client's as individuals helps him tell their human story and how their injuries have caused their life to change forever. He feels empathy for his clients, a skill he had to curate over the years because it did not come naturally. He focuses more time than most trial lawyers gathering evidence and proving up non-economic damages. In 2017, Stephen, along with an amazing team of attorneys from Curitiba, Brazil, successfully invoked the Hague Convention and won a federal hearing in Northern Brazil, which resulted in the retriveing of his daughter after an 11 month long kidnapping from the United States. It was the first ever successful Hague Convention hearing in the state of Piauí. Stephen is a member of Lifegate Church in Omaha and has built a compassion for those struggling with addictions and PTSD that turn one away from a fulfilled and successful life. He and a partner are currently in the development stage of a tech venture based out of Delray Beach, Florida. Stephen started a successful e-commerce business in 2016 and sold it in 2023. Prior to law school, he worked as a pharmaceutical sales rep for two years in both Boca Raton, Florida and Chicago, Illinois. He enjoys spending time in Yorba Linda, California, going to Formula 1 races, options trading, listening to house music and jazz, Husker football, being a busy dance dad, and working out.
