o More than 17 years work experience with international NGOs in the sectors of Food & livelihoods Security/Disaster risk reduction/Resilience/climate change across Africa o Experience in working (proposals, implementation, compliance and reporting) with donors such as ECHO, EU, GCF, DFID, USAID, DEVCO, OFDA, FFP, SIDA, BMZ, FFO, MFA (Norway, Finland), Irish Aid, UNOCHA, UNICEF, WFP, FAO, etc o Use of Household economic analysis (HEA) for anticipatory action (AA) and humanitarian response planning o Market based programming including value chain support, market systems development approaches, emergency market mapping and analysis etc o Humanitarian Response and emergency preparedness planning: Core skills in humanitarian programming with skills on Sphere, Good Enough guide, CaLP, HAP principles o Social protection: Skills in development, implementation and monitoring shock responsive social protection programmes for resilience o Cash based programming: Extensive skills and experiencing in managing conditional and unconditional cash transfer programs through different technologies such as electronic vouchers and mobile cash transfers o Skills in using electronic food vouchers for IDPs/Refugees/host communities o Multi-year resilience programming (Food security/CCA/WASH/Nutrition) o Sustainable livelihoods and DRR/CCA: Knowledge and application of DRR and climate change adaptation within the livelihoods framework in disaster prone areas o Community based participatory risk analysis and mapping o Climate change adaptation and mitigation: Programming and advocacy under food security and livelihoods, national level platforms and processes. o Strategic planning; Formulation, implementation and evaluation of plans including country & multi-country development and emergency preparedness/response plans o M&E: Core skills and application of M&E through development of M&E frameworks, baseline surveys, Research, HEA and project evaluation o Results- Based frameworks skills o Rights-Based approach and child-centered development
