About Stephen Otto

As Vice President, Appraiser Solutions, I am focused on accelerating the creation of valuation solutions that increase operational efficiency and overall appraiser & client success. Collaborating with appraisers, lender clients & industry partners to innovate and modernize valuation. Previously as Head, Appraisal Services & Network, I was responsible for developing the annual and strategic business plan for the appraisal services group, managing its execution and leading the team to fulfill on product management & innovation, quality review, and valuation commitments made to our clients. Stephen brings over 20 years of experience in the valuation space, training, coaching, managing, mentoring, and developing appraisers. Stephen has also been involved for over 10 years at a local and provincial level as a volunteer with the Appraisal Institute of Canada and has an intense passion for the real estate industry. Previously, Stephen held the role of Director, Appraiser Relations with FCT, and prior to that was an appraisal firm business owner in southwestern Ontario. Stephen studied at the Sauder School of Business (UBC), holds his CRA, P.App, ASA, DAR & Certified Appraisal Reviewer Designations, is a license Realtor and is enrolled in the MBA program at the Heriot Watt University.
