About Stephen Percival

With over 30 years of experience in e-commerce, retail, logistics and manufacturing I've had fantastic opportunities to use my skills and knowledge to support businesses improvement projects using lean and six sigma methodology. As fully qualified industrial engineer and a black belt level six sigma practitioner these have included leading on kaizen, value stream mapping, OEE, managing change, and coaching. I have lead the implementation communication cells within DC operations and back office functions at DHL Supply Chain. I have lead on VSM analysis for NHS Supply Chain, managed implementation of parcel sorting automation at Secured Mail, leading on operational mergers at DHL Global Mail, and concept designs on DC (retail) operations at John Lewis Partnership. More recently lead on transition and change for Airbus contract operated by Unipart Logistics. I now work at Scott-Grant a leading business focusing on creating Time Standards and Productivity Improvement. Training and coaching in lean sigma principles and change management has also been a feature of my role. This has included operational staff in DHL Supply Chain (NHS contract), administrative staff in DHL and senior sales at Sealed Air.
