About Stephen Petrick

Stephen Petrick is a Managing Director for the Americas Advisory Compliance team at BlackRock. Stephen manages a global team and is responsible for providing regulatory compliance support for Alternatives Private Credit, Models, Fixed Income, Trading, Capital Markets, Cash, Securities Lending, Transition Management, Financial Markets Advisory, and Private Investors team. Stephen also manages the compliance program in Latin America including Mexico. In addition to his business coverage, he oversees the Expert Network, Political Intelligence, Crossing/Opposing Flow and Reallocation global compliance programs. He recently assumed responsibility for overseeing the global trade surveillance team. Prior to joining BlackRock in 2016, Stephen was a Vice President at Goldman Sachs and held a number of positions in Securities Division Compliance including advisory and risk control. Prior to Goldman Sachs, Stephen was in the Securities Division Department at The Bank of New York and was a Sales Associate at Credit Suisse. Stephen earned a BS from New York University Stern School of Business, JD from New York Law and MBA from New York University.
