About Stephen Pham

I am an educator, nonprofit senior leader, organizational development specialist, and equity strategist, working with social impact organizations to build people capacity, operationalize strategy, and deepen equity-driven impact. I thrive at the nexus of strategy, operations, and culture, collaborating cross-functionally to build systems, improve efficiencies, and enable both growth and impact. My 12+ years of experience include: • strengthening team culture and equity strategy as an organizational development consultant; • managing equity-centered strategic planning projects for social impact organizations at Public Equity Group; • leading operations, talent, DEI, and finance at The Learning Accelerator, achieving over 90% of staff consistently rating the organization as a great place to work; • founding and leading the Remote DEI Collective, a collaborative of 12 education organizations focused on refining DEI strategy; • developing national networks, tools, and strategic resources to accelerate K-12 school innovation as a partner at The Learning Accelerator; • overseeing national innovation and personalized learning at Rocketship Public Schools after teaching 5th grade STEM and achieving the strongest year-to-year math gains across the network; and, • serving as a Community Council Member of the Portland Children's Levy and a board member and DEI chair of Hope Chinese Charter School.
