About Stephen Redfearn

Experienced and decorated law enforcement executive with extensive experience providing the leadership and direction needed to drive the achievement of key community law enforcement-related goals and objectives. I am able to provide wide-ranging leadership through the development and execution of strategy designed to ensure the community and officers safety. I bring proven strength building and maintaining long-term, professional relationships with strategic community partners and law enforcement stakeholders based on the effectiveness of the leadership and solutions provided. I am passionate about the impact that proper, informed, and evidence based law enforcement can have within the community served. Aside from my full time job in law enforcement I am proud to consult for the Office of Victims of Crime under the Department of Justice. I also serve as a Subject Matter Expert for the Colorado Association of Chiefs of Police (CACP) legislative committee. One of the most rewarding honors of my career is my time as the founding President of the Colorado Fallen Hero Foundation, a non-profit organization that responds to line of duty deaths in Colorado, plans the memorial service and provides support to the families and agencies of fallen officers. In 2022 I was asked to represent the Colorado Association of Chief’s of Police as a board member of the Colorado Law Enforcement Memorial (CLEM).
