Background
About Stephen Redfield
I am the Lead Instructor for the OnlineCS Program Oregon State University (OSU). I am responsible for onboarding and training each of our new instructors. This spans topics both pedagogical and tool-specific. I also work with the program Director extensively to develop practices for Online Teaching and help our instructors implement those in their online classes. My areas of teaching responsibility include algorithms, computer architecture, computer networks, and signals & systems. My classroom innovation is focused on increasing involvement inside the classroom, in an effort to help students understand materials, rather than just be able to memorize arbitrary facts. My non-teaching specialties include RF PCB Design, Test & Measurement, Matlab, Wireless System Design & Measurement, and Team Leadership.
