I currently work for Irish Life in a DevOps role supporting the QA and Development team, working on automated solutions and tools using SQL scripting, C#, ASP and Selenium WebDriver to automate thousands of tests using Test Rail to record the results. • I am very proficient at coding and have created and maintain innovative tools which are used by the QA Team on a daily basis. • I have degrees in computer science developing projects in Pascal, C++, COBOL and have since learned Java, C# and ASP programming languages. • I have experience of working on financial projects for Bank of Ireland and Yorkshire Building Society, on Telecommunications and Data Warehousing projects with BT Ireland, and on Insurance and Pension projects with Irish Life. • I have had over 25 years experience working in Quality Assurance/Automation related roles and believe I can be of huge benefit to any project, as I learn very quickly and don’t shy away from new challenges. • I also have over 4 years experience working in Agile teams. My technical knowledge is very strong and I also have website and web service testing experience ensuring that the functionality, usability, compatibility, integration, performance and security of changes are fully tested. • I’m extremely knowledgeable of C#, SQL, Unix, Oracle Enterprise Linux, Java, XML, Scrum Agile methodologies and manual testing disciplines. • I am very proficient with automation tools such as Selenium WebDriver having developed over automated tests for Irish Life since I started there in 2016. • I’m highly organised, my test preparation and documentation is extremely detailed. • I have excellent working relationships with other team members, user acceptance testers and the relevant managers, scrum masters or product owners.
