About Stephen Robinson
I am a qualified librarian and fellow of the HEA, with library experience in public, FE and HE libraries. I previously worked as a university lecturer, and I was an external examiner for 3 years. I currently oversee the running of the Learning Resources Centre at Highlands College Jersey. Before this, I managed the Young Readers department at Jersey Library. All of my roles have revolved around lifelong learning. Over the last two years, I have introduced information skills sessions for HE students, promoted reading to young people and families, and led IT training sessions for adults. I have achieved this by successfully managing internal and external partnerships to promote and expand the library service. I am committed to continuous professional development. I am currently working towards Chartered membership of the Chartered Institute of Information and Library Professionals (CILIP).
