About Stephen Rose

Hello, my name is Stephen Rose and I graduated from Sonoma State University with a Bachelor in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing. I am a hard-working and driven individual who isn’t afraid to face a challenge. During my time at Sonoma State, I was the Events and Fundraising Coordinator for both Sports Business and Professional Sales & Marketing Clubs. I helped organize fundraising events related to Oakland A’s Coliseum, San Jose Shark’s SAP Center, and several on campus events. Also, during my time at Sonoma State, I worked part-time at Sonoma Raceway as a Tech Team Member. I assisted with the preparation of over 10 Performance Driving events a day and oversaw the maintenance and tuning of the racing vehicles. I’m currently a Digital Marketing Fellow at COOP, which is a 16-week program where I’m learning skills related to Search Engine Optimization and Excel (VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables). I’m excited to be a part of this apprenticeship because I’m gaining hands on experience that I didn’t really receive in college and I’m also looking forward to the potential job opportunities that the program has opened up for me. A goal of mine is to find a job that I have a passion for and be successful in. I’m on the hunt for a career where I could utilize my skills and also help me grow as an individual.
