About Stephen Ross

My name is Stephen Ross. I am attending the Muscatatuck Cyber Academy to get my Associate of Applied Science in Cyber Security and Information Assurance. Looking back technology has always been a part of my life. Throughout elementary school, I participated in clubs like the LEGO Robotics Clubs. I even joined the Columbus Signature Academy in middle school to get daily hands-on interaction with a computer. I quickly came to love technology and always looked for ways to improve my knowledge. At 12 years old, I built my first computer, then two weeks after, I fixed my first-ever hardware problem. Throughout high school, I participated in all sorts of Informational Technology activities. For example, I became the president of the Audio Visual Club, created a website for my Senior project, and even graduated from high school with 16 credit hours of College level Informational Technology classes. Since attending the Muscatatuck Cyber Academy, I have learned how to create and monitor secure network environments. I am currently CompTIA Cybersecurity Analyst+, Security+, and Network+ certified. I will also obtain my Cisco Certified Network Associate and Linux + certifications before I graduate at the end of July 2023. These certifications will help me achieve my goal of becoming a Security Operations Center Cybersecurity Analyst.
