About Stephen Royce

I am an experienced, motivated and successful professional with a range of qualifications and a broad set of transferable skills developed through high-level industry experience. I have strong communication and interpersonal skills, excellent problem-solving and I work well both independently and as a member of a team. I have experience in mediation and adjudications and I have formal training in workplace health and safety. I have had management of new and existing programs and staff engaging with stakeholders across multiple areas including Courts, Department of Public Prosecution, Government Agencies, law firms, community groups and the public. I am currently working at Griffith University as a proctor/invigilator and as a marker for employability tasks in the School of Engineering. I enjoy the opportunity to contribute to student learning and experiences whilst simultaneously contributing to the effective delivery and conduct of examinations and assessments. I am community-minded, and am a current Justice of the Peace (Qualified). I have also held previous high-level volunteer roles with Surf Life Saving Queensland, including responsibility for training and formally testing both junior and senior members for the Bronze Medallion. I can quickly adapt my skills to meet challenges and I am open to new opportunities.
