Over 15 years of experience in project management and engineering of projects in the range of $1 million to $25 million in the Oil and Gas and Manufacturing Industries. Positions held included Facilities Engineer (Project Management), New Product Introduction Engineer and Manufacturing Engineer. Project Management experience included: management of crude oil (medium and heavy crude), natural gas (sweet and sour), pipelines and enhanced oil recovery projects in the provinces of Alberta, Saskatchewan and British Columbia. Experience specifically in Cardium Oil, Cardium Gas, Wilrich, Wildriver, Medlodge, Hinton, Edson, Bigstone, Brassey, Farrell Creek, Montney Shale, Chauvin, Lloydminster, Bonnyville, Shaunavon, Instow, Monkman, Deep Basin, Ojay, Naraway and Jackfish. This experience included project development, design definition, contract development and administration, procurement, HAZOP, safety, regulatory, cost control and management, negotiations, environmental control, and management of EPC contractors such as Worley Parsons who provided the detailed design, procurement assistance, construction and commissioning of the capital projects. The Oil and Gas companies experience included working for Devon Energy and Talisman. In the Manufacturing Industries experience included project management of the equipment design and manufacturing required for the delivery of the advanced technology next generation interactive flat panel display platform. Responsible for the management, schedule, costs and quality of manufacturers in South Korea and China who produced the equipment. The manufacturing companies experience included Smart Technologies (acquired by Foxconn), Global Thermoelectric and Nortel Networks.
