20+ years in the IT Business focusing on Service Support aspects of IT Operational strategies and implementations. Managing Site IT Operations teams globally to meet customer requirements. Adhering to Global Standards and implementing Helpdesks for sites in EMEA, APAC and Americas. Currently leading a Global Service Support team of 60+ highly motivated people delivering World class support to a World class medical device company. I hold a BSc in Computer Science & a MSc in Software Engineering and am certified to "Practitioner" level in PRINCE2. In the last fifteen years I have worked both as a consultant and as a full-time employee for “Blue-Chip” organizations in regulated (FDA, SOx) environments across a range of industries including Medical Device, multinational logistics & Electrical Manufacturing During mycareer I have managed a number of projects and operations that have varied in size, from small national projects to large global business transformation programs within the Global Infrastructure and Operations space. I also hold many accreditations in ITL V3 around Service Design, Delivery and Support I possesses highly developed relationship skills to build and lead collaborative, multi-disciplined, multi-cultural teams. I am a natural people person with a passion for building the right team to meet Business requirements from an IT perspective. From 2012 to 2014 both I and my team have won the coveted High Five Award three times for IT Customer Service, Project Delivery and innovation in the EMEA and APAC region in his current company.
