Background

About Stephen Scheideler

I am currently volunteering to help prevent the spread of the COVID-19 in a coordinated joint operations with FEMA, Department of Health, US Army, and US Air force National Guard. I have had several years of leadership experience managing Soldiers whose group size range from small groups (3-8 people) to medium groups (20+ people). I am currently managing a small group that is maintaining full accountability of 390+ service members that work all across the state of Tennessee, assist in elevating pay issues, maintain live spreadsheets for current transfers, assist in planning and preparation of company operations in a joint task force. I graduated with a 3.52 from East Tennessee State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering Technology and a minor in Finance and Military Science. I then graduated from the Army Logistics University as a certified Army logician. I have 6 months experience working with 29 CFR Part 1910 as a safety consultant updating out of regulation equipment at a global tier 3 vehicle parts company, I also have my OSHA 30 Hour General Industry Certificate. My goals are to take the knowledge and skill sets that I have learned from both military and civilian experiences to help diversify and develop those around me. In the near future I would like to further my safety experience on top of working towards getting quality assurance training to for a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt. Working in manufacturing is very important to me because continual research and development, innovation, and people are what drive this world and I want to do my part by promoting teamwork and productivity in an already complex work force. Currently, I hold two jobs, but they have taught me how to be patient, communicate well with staff, and work in a team.
