About Stephen Spilker

My pursuit of a higher education brought me to Alabama where I attended Auburn University. My fascination with mathematics guided me to major in Finance. I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in 2015. Starting in the summer of 2013, I interned for Moody Rambin Interest, Houston’s largest private real estate firm, where I worked with the tenant representation group. I gathered data of the surrounding Houston area where I became proficient in numerous programs such as Costar, Loopnet. And HCAD. I came back in 2014 to work for the investment group and industrial group where I continued my pursuit of gaining the most knowledge I could in real estate. I learned basic investment tools such as cash flow analysis, familiarized myself with Argus, and used numerous databases to determine property ownership.My attraction to real estate lead me to obtain my Texas Salespersons License as soon as I graduated. Soon after my certification, I began taking appraisal trainee courses. I believe that the practice of appraising real estate will help me when I become active as my own personal investor. I believe that becoming well versed in all areas of real estate is not only beneficial, but imperative in becoming successful in the real estate business.The knowledge obtained earning a Texas Salespersons License and completion of my appraisal courses, all backing my Finance degree, I believe that I am a highly qualified business professional looking to practice and gain even more experience in areas of brokerage or analysis.
