About Stephen Stokes

Stephen enjoys working as part of a team in a focused and efficient manner, reliable, highly motivated and hard working. Strong organisational and time management skills and excellent oral and written communication and an ability to prioritise work effectively. Stephen successfully completed an honours degree in computer science Dublin Institute of Technology Kevin Street May 2015. Stephen successfully completed a Fetac (Further Education Training Awards Council) two-year level 6 and level 5 Computer Science course in Coláiste Dhulaigh CDVEC. This course allowed Stephen to progress to the second year of the Computer Science honours degree in Kevin Street, DIT. Prior to returning to college in 2010 Stephen was employed by Northwood Technology for 6 years, where he held a technical support position. Through his career with Northwood Technology Stephen has gained vast experience in the areas of technical support, customer service and customer relations. Stephen's role in Northwood included, providing technical & sales support, to Northwood Technologies nationwide customer base. Management of the repair Centre, including replacing Motherboards, Video Cards, R.A.M, C.P.U, Hard Drives and Power Supplies on PC Based Digital Video Recorders. Quality assurance of customer’s products, this included testing Firmware for Digital Video Recorders, to insure a stable version of Firmware. Stephen has excellent team working attributes, an example of this is playing soccer for Glasnaoin Football Club, and the club plays in the UCFL league He is highly motivated, this is demonstrated through his various activities, such as cycling and running twice a week, maintaining my fitness for surfing and football. He also plays squash when the football season is finished and swims in Dublin College University Glasnevin. Other interests include surfing, Ireland's west coast from Donegal, Clare and Kerry.
