IT is saving the world. I wasn’t always the face of an almost 8 figure cybersecurity and IT business with 50+ people. As a self-taught engineer (college dropout) from a small town, I was always told I’d never leave the County, let alone amount to anything. But I persisted anyway. As I continued to work hard building things, and eventually websites always tinkering with computers, I quickly realized that I did have what it took to build the life I wanted—because I had DRIVE. So I SHIFTED gears. Today I am the CEO of LeadingIT, a premier IT support and cybersecurity firm in Chicago. We serve businesses by taking a human-centered approach to solving the technological crises facing so many businesses today. Ransomware and data breaches can do more than take down a server—they can cost people their livelihood. Which is why at LeadingIT we aren’t just tech experts for the sake of it.
