About Stephen Toth

Experienced and dynamic construction management professional that has delivered numerous complex and logistically challenging industrial, commercial, institutional, and multi-family residential projects as an owner’s representative, developer and contractor in both public and private sectors across Canada. Through his twenty-four-year construction career, Stephen spent over ten years working in the private sector for developers who self-manage and self-perform their vertical infrastructure projects, and a medium-sized construction company that provides owner’s representative project management services to its public sector and private sector clients. Prior to his time in the private sector, Stephen spent fourteen years working for Defence Construction Canada, one of the largest real property project delivery organizations in the federal public sector, holding various senior management and leadership roles on the owner’s side, managing, administrating, and overseeing the completion of defence projects across Canada. He also served as National Practice Area Leader for the management of industrial security requirements on defence projects across Canada. Stephen has been involved with the development of numerous guidance documents, policies and procedures over his career with respect to the delivery of construction projects. He has extensive experience taking a project from conception to completion with a hands-on and collaborative team approach. Stephen is a registered Professional Engineer in the province of British Columbia and holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Ottawa with a specialization in municipal engineering, structural engineering, and project management.
