About Stephen Turner

With over 12 years of experience in food and beverage operations and management, I have a proven track record of transforming and optimizing restaurants and cafes, delivering exceptional customer service, and increasing profitability and market share. I hold a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification from Villanova University, which enables me to apply data-driven and process-oriented approaches to improve quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction. As the former Co-General Manager of Café Blue, I revamped store operations and enhanced the customer experience by focusing on customer expectations, service standards, and facility maintenance. I also took charge of inventory management, staff development, and shift operations. Prior to that, I was the General Manager of Mimosa Restaurant for five years, where I turned it into a nationally recognized destination for French cuisine and brunch, winning the Diners’ Choice Award from OpenTable for three consecutive years and being featured in USA Today’s 10Best. Additionally, I have a Master of Anthropology degree from Wichita State University, and I wrote a book on international negotiation strategies and techniques, based on my thesis and previous consulting experience. I have successfully applied my cultural and analytical skills to generate over 11 billion dollars in potential FDI for KOTRA, working with C-level executives and managers from various industries and backgrounds.
