About Stephen Vescio

I am an experienced Leader with a passion for, and a demonstrated history in building and evolving business and support models pursuant to compliance, regulatory, product, technology and related services, and providing clients and constituents with insights and thought leadership. For over 20 years, I have focused in the areas of financial products and services, risk management, oversight, technology and governance. I thrive on change, and the opportunity to evolve and enhance client experience and value, business, and products. Areas of expertise include building, structuring and leading high performing global teams, influencing the direction of regulatory developments and driving industry best practices, and driving continuous evolution and improvement. In my current role as Head of Global Tax Services, I am responsible for the entirety of BBH’s tax product, practice, and service set as delivered to our global client base. The scope of our services encompasses over 100 markets of investment, and applies to substantially all aspects of BBH’s Investor Services business. I have led and currently participate in industry groups including SIFMA, AGC, and RMA, and publish thought leadership materials and articles in the scope of our business. I have deep knowledge and technical areas such as CRS, FATCA, income tax treaties, and other international tax technical areas.
