About Stephen Vosburgh

Currently an Assistant Vice President at Marsh on the Chicago Analytics team within Marsh Advisory. In this position, I engage in Data Analytics & Consulting within Risk Analysis. I develop bespoke Monte Carlo models to inform insurance program limit and retention decisions, optimize portfolios of risk, and simulate client-specific losses – both insurable and uninsurable. By leveraging data-driven insights, I empower clients to make informed decisions about their unique risk profiles and exposures, enabling them to implement optimal insurance strategies. Prior to this position, I achieved my Bachelor's degree from Loyola University Chicago in May 2022. I graduated summa cum laude with a major in Statistics and a minor in Data Science. I have gained significant knowledge and skills in Statistics, Actuarial Science, & Data Science during my work and undergraduate experience. I am proficient in Microsoft office (excel, PowerPoint, word) as well as R & Python. During my time as an undergraduate, I was a risk economics intern for Marsh in Summer 2021, where I was then hired full time after achieving my degree. In 2024, I was promoted to Assistant Vice President due to stand out performance. During Spring 2025, I will be beginning a part-time Master’s of Science in Analytics program at Georgia Tech while continuing my career at Marsh.
