About Stephen Watt

I am a Higher Education careers and employability professional experienced in delivering careers guidance and careers education. Adaptable and thrive on facing a challenge, I moved into the careers profession after 11 years working as a research scientist within the life sciences field. I have a Postgraduate Diploma in Careers Information, Education, and Guidance in Higher Education from the University of Warwick and have several years of experience working with students and supporting learning and development, both in my work as a scientist and as a careers professional. I have a passion for teaching, presenting and inspiring professional development and over the past five years have led the design and delivery of employability and enterprise education at the University of Dundee. I have recently been involved in creating digital content for online learning platforms, including the production of educational videos, and am keen to explore and develop my skills and experience in this area. I have a proven track record of building successful relationships with various stakeholders, including university staff and external employers, and I always strive to find ways we can deliver continuous improvement.
