About Stephen Zbur

Professional Geologist licensed to practice in Pa, Virginia, N.C and S.C. I began my consulting career in Orlando, Florida for S & ME in August 1985. Field work was enjoyable as I got to encounter rattlesnakes, gators and chigger bites. Overseeing drilling activities at Launch Pad 39B was a definite highlight along with gaining an understanding of the business. In 1989, I accepted a position as a Project Manager with Delta Environmental Consultants in Charlotte, N.C. This role was very challenging as I was exposed to characterizing site geology and hydrogeology in the Piedmont, Blue Ridge and Valley and Ridge physiographic provinces. In addition, I gained experience in RCRA/ CERLCA and environmental compliance. In 1994, I moved back to my native southwest PA and started the Pittsburgh office for Delta. At that time, the PA office was the only office in the northeast and as a result, our service delivery area stretched all the way up to Maine, as far south as Northern Virginia and to western Ohio. In 2001, I started CORE Environmental Services, Inc. and through the hard work of our employees we have grown our client list to over 400 and have diversified our service delivery to include:* Soil and ground water remediation * Environmental, Health and Safety compliance * Industrial Hygiene * Due Diligence (Phase I and II ESAs)* Environmental Permitting * Training Our clientele includes:* Manufacturers * Perspective Property Purchasers/ Sellers * UST/ AST owners/ operators * Lenders/Attorneys * Construction companies * State Government We are able to service all of PA,W.V, Ohio and western New York
