About Stephon Healey

After leaving a young career in the accounting field and moving into education with a vision to make a difference in the lives of young people, I have accumulated a diverse array of experiences. During my career I have proved to be an effective educator and mentor, showing personal interest in the lives of my students. Education and more specifically, sport's role within education, provides the optimal platform to provide development in the lives of the young people that I engage with. My experience has displayed consistency in mentoring students to maximize their potential. I have coached All-Americans in both track and football. Since 2001 I have been instrumental in directly developing over 30 all conference players in football. I worked as a jumps coach at Bridgewater College where we won the conference championship in 2008. In football, I have been a part of four conference championships, three at Bridgewater College (2003, 2004, 2005) and one at Gallaudet University (2013).
