About Sterling Laughlin

i started my job search after college with one particular career in mind, as many people do, and ended up drifting away from that career path. i obtained my ba in english and secondary education, hoping to become an english teacher someday. i had a change of heart and am now interested in pursuing a career that will allow me to write, edit, and hopefully create. i am a quick learner and work well with a team or individually. i am a devoted employee who comes to work with a smile on and a “can-do” attitude. i am detail-oriented and put my best effort into each project i start. i have worked in many different environments. i have worked as a general laborer for a construction company and an event planning company. i have been a front-of-house salesperson, delivery driver, and product photographer for a local bakery. i have also been a substitute teacher at all grades and across all subjects. i like to think that i am well-rounded and excel at interpersonal communication. whatever the next step in my career path is, i am looking forward to learning and growing along the way.
