As a pharmacist by training, I have been always passionate about the whole process of the drug discovery. The strong interest in the computational methods for the drug design led my career development in the direction of the cheminformatics and computational chemistry. Defining Accomplishments:• Excellent relationship builder fostering the extensive scientific exchange with research professionals from 6 working groups resulted in 4 successful collaborations. • Confident and effective communicator with the strong record of producing scientific talks and posters as demonstrated by participating in >10 conferences and workshops. • Mastered the time management skills by supporting PI meeting the deadline for the grant application ending in euros to facilitate projects in our lab.• Established mentoring/leadership skills with 3 years of experience in instructing the practical course on the molecular dynamics (preparing course material and tutorials) and supervising 4 undergraduate students in scientific research/communication. Technical skills: Docking (structure-based, and protein-protein docking); biomolecular simulations (all-atom molecular dynamics (MD) simulations, umbrella sampling, steer-MD, free energy perturbation); virtual screening; Python, MATLAB, and Bash scripting; high-performance computing (HPC); Markov State Models (MSM); computational methods to study protein allostery.As my Ph.D. studies are about to finish in coming months, I am excited about the transition to an R&D/application scientist role within a pharma/biotech/modeling software company.
