As a Contributing Gear Editor at The Inertia, I help the internet become a better place by giving nonbiased reviews of outdoor gear to a passionate audience. I also edit freelance pieces and update old articles with best practices that we continually learn and refine. I work with PR agencies and marketing executives of various brands to showcase the latest and greatest gear and share what makes them great. And of course, I test the gear in the elements and find out what's great and what needs work, so that readers can make an informed purchase decision. I have more than 12 years of experience as a Content Marketing Producer and Strategist, writing for numerous publications and websites, mainly focusing on adventure travel and action sports. I have also written a few political columns. Some of my clients include TheClymb.com, Wenger (Swiss Army Knife), OluKai, Meridian Senior Living, Outside Magazine, and Whistler Traveller. I have a BSc/BA in Communication and International Relations from the University of Southern California, and I hold certifications with the Canadian Ski Guide Association, Canadian Avalanche Association, and International Wilderness Medicine Institute. I am fluent in Spanish and English and am a US/Canadian dual citizen. My diverse background has been guided by my passions for outdoor sports and creating stories that initiate conversations.
