About Steve Armstrong

I've filled numerous software development, architecture, and project management roles in my career, and what interests me the most is taking new technologies and applying them to new types of problems, with a keen emphasis on how the resulting functionality is best presented to end-users. So, I guess I'd call myself a cross between a system architect and a "product usability engineer", someone who takes a product concept through the definition stage and into the design & development stages. At the design stage, my primary focus has often been on how the product should look and behave from an end-user's point of view. I try to bring end-to-end integrity/consistency to whatever is being built, continuing right through the implementation, testing, and documentation phases.
