I'm curious about the interplay of material microstructures with the application of those materials in the micro- and nano- range of technology. My curiosity gets satisfied in my role as a Materials Scientist. In this role, I am a determined problem solver who uses Six Sigma Black Belt skills and my broad knowledge of materials to determine root causes and develop sustainable solutions. These solutions have been successful in conditions ranging from nanometer thick layers within hard drive heads to high reliability naval computers. I am known for my ability to communicate with all teams and translating complex information to ensure understanding and gain buy in for solutions.
