About Steve Bogie

I am an Operations, Technology, and Customer Service Executive with over 30 years’ experience in aviation - focused on airline and aviation operations, currently operating my own consulting firm and am a Founding Partner in AeroATeam. My expertise includes airline operations, the customer travel experience, fiscal responsibility, budget planning, process automation, technology, flight operations, maintenance operations and the regulatory and safety management structures required for air operations. I have successfully led the development, delivery and support of multiple industry leading, innovative, customer centric initiatives which significantly improved the customer / employee experience, delivered operational efficiencies, and continue to be utilized and evolved today. My career has involved a succession of expanding, senior leadership roles including Managing Director, IT at Air Canada with responsibility for the organization’s IT systems, including the strategic vision and evolution these systems. In addition to alignment with the overall business and corporate strategies, I was responsible to lead the delivery and implementation of this strategy and the engagement of key strategic business partners and stakeholders. I also held numerous senior roles in Corporate Strategy, Airline Operations, Customer Service and Community Relations, Autonomous Flight and Aviation Technology Consulting. As a recognized thought leader and industry spokesperson, I have presented at multiple national and international venues, conferences, and similar engagements to speak on these initiatives. I continue to develop new and innovative strategies as an Executive Advisor to numerous aviation and venture capital organizations, in addition to volunteering as a Board Member for Aerial Evolution Association of Canada and previously with the Airline Transport Association of Canada (ATAC) and the Boundary Bay Airport Commission. What I do best is build and execute customer-centric, operationally efficient strategies incorporating compelling value propositions that resonate with the target group, meet the needs of the consumer and have longevity. I have a passion for developing and delivering innovative, technology-based end-user improvements that deliver the targeted benefits in a product centric manner. I will continue to pursue new opportunities to execute on this passion.
