About Steve Bray

I am a Myers-Briggs ENFJ; motivated by helping others reach their potential, turning ideas into reality, and collaborating with colleagues for the best outcome. I value relationships, improving lives, and delivering as a team-leader or team-member. Over my career I have worked in multiple industries and held multiple jobs in retail sales and management, journalism reporting and editing, animal health, social research and evaluation, interior design, education, theater, film, and entertainment. The breadth of my skills allows me to take on diverse roles within a company to increase internal capacity. I am analytical with a creative mind and thrive when tasked with solving problems, fostering interdepartmental collaboration, or facilitating professional development. I focus on “We can do better” rather than it's “Good enough.” It is second nature for me to cross-train teams and remain transparent. I am accustomed to a fast-paced environment and juggle competing priorities to exceed internal or external client expectations. I am always up for helping out a colleague and offering my editing eye for that final pass before publication or going live. I have traveled extensively to market company services and lead trainings. I am also known for my ability to step in and improve difficult client relations, mentor colleagues, and continually go "the extra mile."(Cliche, but true.) I grew up in rural America, but now prefer the city life. I have been successful working remotely or in-office and pride myself on understanding people, places, and getting up-to-speed quickly when my job takes me into a new field or industry. My inquisitive nature always has me striving to learn more and has proved invaluable in project implementation, material development, and messaging. In my free time, podcasts, cooking, or finding the best cinnamon roll in the country spark my appetite. Also, reading a magazine back-to-front, vacationing near water (Aloha!), and drinking a top-shelf Manhattan makes me believe all is right in the world. I am eager to explore how I can bring my talents to your team. Together anything is possible.
