Extensive school leadership experience including two headships. Currently providing support and challenge to a Multi Academy Trust in the West Midlands and supporting governors and school leaders in the expansion of an Academy Trust and the opening of a new school also in the West Midlands. Since 2017 have inspected schools as an OI for OfSTED. Inclusion Quality Mark -assessor; Headteacher Performance Management; As a consultant, have worked on a range of school improvement / school effectiveness projects including: DFE Academies- Adviser/Broker with the Performance Division on the delivery of high-quality sponsored academy projects; Accelerated Progress Lead- School Improvement Consortium in South Wales (CSC) Adviser on high profile Welsh Government "Schools' Challenge Cymru" programme; Foundation and Trust Schools support; Leadership support to Academies; School Improvement Partner across a number of LAs; School Effectiveness Team for Manchester City Council; Significant National Challenge experience with 4 LAs. Leadership Development Adviser for the National College which includes accreditation as a leadership coach. Also an accredited facilitator for Best Practice Network on their Accelerated Leadership programme, including leadership coaching.
