About Steve Carpenter

I am an attorney admitted to the Indiana State Bar and the Federal Bar of the Southern District of Indiana and have served the citizens of Indiana for many years. This practice has allowed me to regulate and participate in the operation of non-profit entities. My interest in tax-exempt organizations has compelled me to obtain a Certificate in Fundraising Management. My strengths include: a broad knowledge of Indiana civil and administrative law, experience in non-profit organization and governance and a desire and drive to continue to expand my career into the non-profit sector. I believe the knowledge, skills and abilities that I have developed will transfer to a tax exempt organization and that I will benefit an organization’s planned giving program as well as its general legal needs.
