About Steve Chippendale
I am co-chair of the Antitrust and Unfair Practice Group that belongs to the international law firm of McKenna Long & Aldridge LLP. I was born in Leeds, England, and grew up in Columbia, Missouri. My degrees are from Indiana University (BA 1990), American University (MS 1992), and the University of Minnesota (JD 1995). I moved to the District of Columbia in 1998 to join a think tank and then Senator McCain's first presidential campaign. My goal is to be a valued business adviser who provides strategic counsel on a range of issues relating to antitrust law and competitive practices. Offensively, I help foreign and domestic companies protect their position in the U.S. market against unfair competitor conduct. Defensively, I help clients use compliance programs, teaming agreements, and non-disclosure agreements to achieve their business objectives while reducing antitrust exposure.
