Steve Darcey Regional Learning Capabilities Manager | DICK’S Sporting Goods I’ve spent nearly 12 years at DICK’S Sporting Goods, with the past 7 in my role as Regional Learning Capabilities Manager. Over that time, I’ve built my career around one simple belief: leadership is about people. My goal has always been to help leaders grow, create strong teams, and build cultures where people feel supported, valued, and pushed to be their best. I’m known for being real, approachable, and dependable—someone who will give you honest feedback, challenge you when you need it, and always be there to support your growth. Whether in operations, leadership development, or mentoring, I’ve made it my mission to help the next generation of leaders step into their potential. For me, culture isn’t a buzzword—it’s the foundation of success. I focus on building environments where trust, consistency, and accountability fuel both performance and belonging. Outside of work, family is my foundation. Being a husband, father, and son means everything to me, and I carry that same sense of loyalty and support into my professional life. I also believe in the power of humor and connection—because sometimes the best way to bring people together is with a laugh and genuine care.
