For over three decades, my role as Editor and Publisher of the award-winning Environmental Science & Engineering Magazine (ES & E) has focused on the pursuit of editorial excellence. I’m passionate about informing our audience about the ongoing changes to renewable technology and engineering practices so we can collectively optimize the environment for future generations. A proudly family-owned and -operated business since 1988, ES & E has been the go-to source for thousands of environmental industry professionals. Our publication educates and connects a wide range of professionals who specialize in the water, wastewater and environmental protection sectors across Canada. Covering a wide range of thought-provoking content, we educate and empower more than professionals with articles about biosolids, climate change, air pollution and all aspects of drinking water including treatment, collection systems, disinfection, filtration, and site remediation. Each version of our print publication is complemented with extended reach via our fully interactive digital version at Additionally, our Directory & Buyers’ Guide and e-newsletters reach thousands of subscribers. Our Canadian Environmental Conference and Tradeshow, CANECT, brings together leading professionals and enthusiasts in the environmental industry to innovative solutions and foster collaborative partnerships so we can collectively address today’s most pressing environmental challenges. I am profoundly honored to be a recipient for the Arthur Sydney Bedell Award from the Water Environment Federation. This prestigious award underscores an individual’s unwavering commitment to excellence within the wastewater industry. In addition to my roles at ES & E, I have served as the President of the Ontario Pollution Equipment Association of Ontario, and President of The Water Environment Association of Ontario Beyond my professional endeavors, I find solace and inspiration riding on my motorcycle, or driving first car I bought at the age of 17, a 1970 Oldsmobile Delta 88.
