About Steve de Leon

I am a dedicated paraprofessional with over 15 years of experience supporting students with diverse learning and behavioral needs. I have successfully implemented individualized education plans (IEPs), collaborated with teachers and specialists to improve classroom outcomes for 20+ students annually, and applied Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) techniques to maintain a safe, positive learning environment. Certified as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) and trained in Safety Crisis Management and CPR/First Aid, I bring both compassion and professional rigor to every interaction. Currently pursuing an Associate of Applied Science in Human Services at Houston Community College, I am expanding my expertise in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and youth advocacy. Beyond the classroom, I’m currently developing Inner Child, a pop-culture inspired T-shirt concept that channels creativity and storytelling to spark connection and joy. I am open to opportunities in education support, ABA therapy, and youth services—and welcome connections with professionals, organizations, and collaborators who share a commitment to inclusive education and child development.
