About Steve Edwards

With over 20 years of experience in the engineering and sourcing fields, I am a Sr. Sourcing Manager at Cummins Inc, a global leader in power solutions. I have an MBA from Indiana University and an MS in Aeronautical Engineering from Wichita State University, as well as skills in strategic sourcing, purchasing agents, and reliability engineering. In my current role, I lead the global sourcing strategy for fuel systems, managing a team of sourcing professionals and collaborating with suppliers, customers, and internal stakeholders. I also leverage my previous experience as an Assistant Chief Engineer for fuel systems current product engineering, where I oversaw the design, development, and testing of fuel system components and subsystems for Cummins engines. My core competencies include negotiation, cost reduction, quality assurance, supplier relationship management, and cross-functional teamwork. I am passionate about delivering innovative and sustainable solutions that meet the needs of our customers and the environment.
