At 65 years old, I am comfortable in my retirement. But, opportunity knocked and the option to help others while so much change was happening in the financial industry was too important to me to pass up. It is an easy opportunity that builds on my math acumen – as a retired actuary, my familiarity with the time value of money and the force of compounding. As well, my consulting career dealt with large employer employee benefits plans – so assisting Qualified Retirement Plan Sponsors is a natural transition. The financial industry is undergoing significant change in light of Fiduciary Duties and Compensation Disclosures.
