With a firm foundation in technical engineering, management leadership, and a keen focus on recovery projects, I have successfully improved operational performance and efficiency across various industry-leading companies. In my early career, I cut my teeth as an Exploitation Engineer at Galleon Energy, Inc, and Corporate Planning & Exploitation Engineer at Devon Canada Corporation. Notably, I boosted production from 250 to over BOED and raised returns on employed capital, respectively. With an MBA from the University of Calgary, a BSc in Mechanical Engineering from the Royal Military College, and my status as a Certified Professional Engineer (P.Eng) and having completed the academic requirements of Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Program, I offer a unique blend of education and real-world experience that allow me to push boundaries and deliver results. Technical Engineering Led the construction of a 50 MMcfd shallow-cut gas processing plant and boosted oil and gas handling capacities by 200% and 400% respectively, at Insignia Energy Limited. Introduced advanced plant process capabilities at Canbriam Energy, including debutanizer addition, increased refrigeration, and expansion of condensate, LPG storage, and water handling. Established integrity programs, supervised site construction, and coordinated consultants at Canbriam Energy to optimize technical operations. Managerial Leadership Exhibited strong project leadership in commercial acumen and A&D, reducing operating costs and identifying key expenditure drivers at Insignia Energy. Directed a multidisciplinary team to improve business operations, optimize environmental compliance, and enhance production efficiency. Coordinated with local service companies and third-party consultants to supervise site construction and well abandonment/decommissioning activities, successfully leading a 6-well exploration program in Quebec. Recovery Project Experience Spearheaded a field-wide artificial lift strategy and led GHG reduction initiatives on facilities, generating offset carbon credits from instrument air/low bleed installations at Insignia Energy. Championed a key pipeline project by providing critical FEED and hydraulic study support, determining the optimal 65km route, and addressing plant irregularities such as de-ethanizer tower contamination. I continue to engineer innovative solutions for the oil and gas industry, contributing to global energy sustainability while fostering profitable growth for my organizations.
