As a life-long AFL devotee, I am keen to combine my sports and business background into a new opportunity. I am keen to talk to recruiters, employers and organisational decision makers on how I can be an ideal fit for their brand. I'm contactable any time on 0429 683 162. I come to the table with a life-long passion to use “this point of my life” to give back to the community. I have been involved in football all my life, and continue to work in it now casually assisting with AusKick programs in Gippsland and mentoring / coaching umpires for gameday. Yes, I have lots of life experience, but I continue to be curious and excited about mastering new things and investing time and energy to see my efforts turn into success. Key points that define who I am are- Equipped with 32 years in business management, running high performing teams, whilst also being an Australian Rules Football Coach and Club President in charge of operations, personnel, marketing, VIPs, player welfare and wellbeing, community and corporate sponsorships, events management and profitability- I have set up and ran successful businesses as well as innovative programs within football clubs, even raising funds for special causes and charities. I have also been on the frontline “working the room” to build sponsors, VIPs and other stakeholders to drive club interests. I have excellent referees who will vouch for me as an organised, punctual, attentive and self-motivated team player / organisational ambassador- My referees will also vouch for my business acumen in setting up and coordinating sales, marketing and promotional activities for various organisations and clubs. I am very good at building and nurturing strong relationships at all levels of business, especially with the wider community. A key achievement I am very proud of was building a strong football culture within the Gembrook-Cockatoo Football Netball Club, which attracted families from all walks of life as the environment was inclusive. Overall, I am very excited about the prospect of being interviewed for a new role, where I can contribute to the fabric of the culture the management team want to build and nurture.
