About Steve Gray

With over 13 years of dedicated service at Ideal Gear & Machine Works, I’ve built my career from the ground up. I began as a General Shop Helper and steadily worked my way up to my current role as Warehouse Operations Manager. Throughout my journey, I’ve held key positions including Supply Chain Coordinator, where I refined my ability to manage the movement of goods and streamline supply chain operations. Prior to that, I served as Shipping & Receiving Lead Hand, gaining hands-on experience in logistics and inventory control, while helping create a culture that values safety and teamwork. Safety has always been a priority for me. As a longtime First Aid Attendant and an elected member of the Health and Safety Committee for much of my tenure, I’ve been proud to contribute to a safe and supportive work environment. I thrive in team-oriented settings where I can lead by example, continuously improve processes, and help others perform at their best. Whether it's driving operational efficiency or mentoring team members, I’m committed to delivering results that raise the bar. Outside of work, I value a healthy work-life balance. I enjoy staying active, squeezing in the occasional round of golf (though my handicap is still a work in progress), and making the most of quality time with friends and family. I am always happy to connect, whether it's to share ideas or explore potential ways we can work together!
