About Steve Greenblatt

I have the honor of leading a team of AV software developers uniquely positioned to help manufacturers succeed in making their products easier to implement by addressing one of the biggest pain points that AV programmers face in their everyday projects: integrating a fully-featured API with a control system platform. With decades of experience in AV control system programming, Control Concepts works with manufacturers to address one of the biggest hidden challenges that stand in the way of the success of their products: ease of control and programming. By developing and supporting control system modules, drivers, and plugins, which are the building blocks that seamlessly integrate products, add functionality to AV systems, and ultimately lead to the success of control system integration, not only are programmers more successful, but products are looked upon more favorably, support demands are reduced, and client satisfaction increases significantly. With an understanding of the needs of AV programmers, our team is well-qualified to identify and convey their requirements, support them in addressing their programming challenges, contribute to satisfying client needs and expectations, and ensure successful product integration. As an entrepreneur and small business owner, my focus is on business strategy, relationship building, team development, and nurturing long-standing partnerships resulting in valuable outcomes that exceed client expectations and produce business relationships that lead to raving fans. I’m passionate about business, the AV industry, and evangelizing the value of control system programming and programmers. I’ve built my career on helping businesses and AV professionals succeed in solving some of the unique needs of businesses in the AV industry. I regularly share my insights and experiences about business and AV through online content, podcasts (Ask The Programmer, A State of Control), writing (SCN, Commercial Integrator), and speaking at industry events.
