About Steve Grubb

Steve is an experienced Information Technology leader with a proven ability to apply a diverse range of technologies to transform business processes. He has demonstrated success delivering multi-million dollar implementation programs globally. He is adept at building high performing teams, achieving commitments, and delivering business value through technology innovation. Currently, he is the IT Division Manager for a Global Corporate Applications Support team that provides incident, problem, and change management for all Caterpillar facilities worldwide. His team is responsible for delivering effective and efficient support services, helping Caterpillar optimize the benefits derived from IT solutions. Since joining Caterpillar in 1990, Steve has served in a progression of leadership and IT professional roles, which spanned IT development, support, and implementation. He has broad business experience, delivering solutions for finance, machine manufacturing, engine manufacturing, component manufacturing, aftermarket parts distribution, and logistics. In support of assignments he has lived in the Midwestern and Southeastern United States and in Europe. Steve graduated from Purdue University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science. He also completed a Master of Science degree in Technology from Purdue. He is an SAP Certified Associate and a Caterpillar Certified Six Sigma Black Belt.
